The sunroom is usable year-round and the octagon cathedral ceiling does not include horizontal roof supports. Glass walls around the structure provide maximum viewing ; 5 inches of closed-cell foam in the walls and ceilings provides an R-34.5 value. Radiant heating is installed below the stone floor to contribute to thermal control.
