- Karen Kassen, CMKBD, Allied ASID, remodeled this 50-year-old kitchen to match recent renovations to other parts of the home, creating a contemporary style that supported a kosher lifestyle.
- Kassen’s client first fell in love with CaesarStone’s Concetto Brown Agate countertop, which the designer used to create a high-arced informal eating area on the island; the space was designed around it.
- The renovation included replacing an existing pantry with cherry cabinetry from Mouser Custom Cabinetry in an Espresso stain; the designer estimates this increased kitchen space by two linear feet.
- Products included: CaesarStone Concetto Brown Agate and White Blizzard countertops; Expresso cabinets from Mouser Custom Cabinetry; appliances from Miele, Wolf, Sub-Zero, Bosch and Vent-A-Hood, some integrated with custom panels to match the cabinetry; Franke faucets and garbage disposals; dual Blanco undermount sinks and satin nickel hardware from Top Knobs.
