- Gary White, CMKBD, focused on the need of his clients to have a practical, comfortable yet distinctive space for cooking, entertaining and everyday living. Incorporating a breakfast room and integrated seating for two on the peninsula, White designed the space to function as a meal planning station, as well, complete with a desk area and computer.
- Division of space is key to the design; the breakfast nook, with its high, coffered ceilings and comfortable seating, is visibly separated from the rest of the kitchen, but is close enough to the food prep areas that guests can interact with the cook without interfering.
- Product lineup includes a professional-style range from Dacor; a range hood from Vent-A-Hood with a Gold Vein finish; a Blanco pot filler; stainless sinks from Franke; countertops by CaesarStone; Craftsman-style hardware from Top Knobs, and Hallmark cabinetry. The wine unit in the butler’s pantry is from U-Line.
