Kitchen Room Swap Yields Warm, Stylish Result

Project Highlights

  • In order to meet the needs of his clients, v.p. of sales and kitchen and bath designer Andy Smith of Denver, CO-based JM Kitchen & Bath relocated the kitchen to a space closer to the garage, while a dining room was created in the vacant area. The designer also worked with his clients to create a pantry and breakfast nook out of the reorganized space.
  • Dynasty by Omega Cabinetry was used in both the kitchen and dining room in Painted White with a pewter glaze and Glazed Cherry finishes, respectively. Pulls and hardware were selected to give the cabinetry a ‘furniture’ look.
  • Smith selected Maroon Cohiba granite for the kitchen countertops and Red Dragon granite for the dining room.
  • Avid entertainers, the couple required commercial-style appliances to meet their food prep needs. The product line-up includes an in-counter steamer, 48" dual-fuel range and 48" wall hood from Wolf, a 36" Sub-Zero 650/S, a dishwasher, compactor and icemaker from KitchenAid.
