Gorell Windows Reports Gains in Acquisitions

Gorell Windows & Doors of Indiana, Penn., announced that despite the current downturn in the home-improvement industry, it is experiencing record increases in new business acquisitions as well as business volume from new acquisitions.  The number of new dealers and distributors that have signed on with Gorell in 2008 is 29.3 percent higher than the number of companies that joined Gorell in 2007, the company says.  The amount of new window business resulting from this increase in 2008 is 47.4 percent more than new business produced in 2007.

Wayne Gorell, President and CEO, attributed the gains to the company’s stability, its wide range of product and option offerings and also its strong performance in the areas of product energy efficiency and security.  “Our company just became the first and only vinyl replacement window manufacturer to have products certified by Green Seal™,” Gorell said, “and that’s in addition to winning an unprecedented fifth Energy Star Partner of the Year award and our third Sustained Excellence award from the Department of Energy and EPA.”

In addition to earning certifications, awards and other recognition based on the “green,” energy efficiency benefits of its windows and doors, Gorell is also a leader in the area of window and door security. Gorell Windows & Doors is in its seventh year as an exclusive window partner with the National Crime Prevention Council.
