Lutron Electronics shows support for remodelers

Coopersburg, PA (Aug. 17, 2009) –– Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics has signed a sponsorship agreement with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry to help members differentiate their services with lighting control solutions.

As a NARI sponsor, Lutron will educate members of the remodeling community via a series of podcasts and webinars designed to heighten awareness of lighting control solutions, including shading control.

“Members of the remodeling community can use lighting controls to maximize their profits and provide homeowners with the ambiance and energy savings they want,” says Matt Kurtz, Sales Manager of Residential Specifications at Lutron. “Our goal is to educate remodelers on the products and services they can provide to increase their business.”

To keep remodelers current on new developments in lighting control, Lutron’s webinars will focus on up-and-coming technologies, such as LED light sources. Remodelers will learn how Lutron is working to control these emerging light sources and how they can apply these solutions to their projects.

As part of the agreement, Lutron will also sponsor NARI’s Contractor of the Year (COTY) Awards. The awards are given each year to NARI members who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects.
