Los Angeles — Stephen Enkeboll, son of the late Raymond Enkeboll, founder of Carson, CA-based Enkeboll Designs, was found dead in his Malibu, CA home last month, the apparent victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 49.
After his father’s death in 1996, Stephen Enkeboll carried on the work of his family as director of the Enkeboll Foundation for the Arts and Architecture, conducting trade seminars and working with colleges throughout the country. He was a member of the Foundation for Design Integrity, a group of designers and manufacturers dedicated to promoting industry awareness to protect original design.
“We are deeply saddened by this tragic news and our hearts and blessings go out to the Enkeboll extended family,” the company said in a statement. “Stephen is beloved and will be sorely missed.”
