Bethesda, MD — The Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association has recognized a number of its members for their exceptional business accomplishments, the Bethesda, MD-based trade association announced.
The individuals and businesses were honored at DPHA’s Annual Meeting, held in Boston, MA.
Among the nominees were Marilyn Hermance of Westheimer Plumbing and Hardware in Houston, TX, who was named as 2007 DPHA Showroom Professional of the Year; Bob Marshall of Van Nuys, CA-based ACS Marketing as the 2007 Representative of the Year and David Crossley of Duravit, USA in Duluth, GA who was named 2007 Manufacturing Professional of the Year.
According to the DPHA, the trio were honored for outstanding contributions to advance the decorative plumbing and hardware industry, including involvement in DPHA activities, personal achievements in the industry, pursuit of personal improvement and education, job performance and accomplishments, and involvement in and the support of professional organizations.
DPHA also presented two Showroom of the Year Awards to Miller’s Fine Decorative Hardware and Plumbing in Jupiter, FL and Chicago Brass based in Chicago. These firms were recognized for their showroom training and marketing programs, customer service, involvement and support of the industry, merchandising and innovative presentation of decorative plumbing and hardware within the showroom.
The association also named Julien’s ‘BenchToilet’ as the 2007 Innovative Product of the Year, in recognition of technological sophistication and design innovation; and honored ROHL, LLC with the Customer Service Department of the Year Award, with Magruder Associates and Silvertip Marketing named Representative Agencies of the Year.
Lastly, Jody Rosenberg of Sonia America in Sunrise, FL received the President’s Award, the firm added.
