JELD-WEN Targets Growing Replacement Market

Klamath Falls, Ore. – With remodeling activity expected to far outpace new construction in 2009, JELD-WEN has unveiled three new vinyl replacement window and patio door lines to meet the anticipated demand for remodeling-specific products.

The new lines, Primo, Bravo and Omega, will be available through a new replacement program tailored to dealers who market, sell and install windows and doors into existing homes.

"Vinyl replacement windows account for more than 50 percent of all windows sold in the U.S., so these new lines are a great opportunity for growth," said Les Stephens, window marketing manager for JELD-WEN. "Naturally, the dealer channel is a big part of the initiative and our new program can help these independent companies who target homeowners to grow and increase sales."

The new Primo, Bravo and Omega vinyl window and patio door lines feature high-energy performance, low maintenance, affordability, and complement any home style or replacement installation challenge.

Dealers who join the new JELD-WEN Replacement Windows and Doors program will have the opportunity to sell JELD-WEN's new Omega, Primo and Bravo vinyl replacement window lines and can take advantage of strong sales support including a dedicated JELD-WEN sales force, consumer-focused literature, sales tools designed to support in-home sales, JELD-WEN brand advertising and promotions.

The JELD-WEN Replacement Windows and Doors program is currently available to dealers in the West and Great Lakes regions. Stephens said the program is expected to expand to additional regions later in 2009.
