Curb Appeal Renovations, Ft. Worth, Texas
extensive plumbing work associated with the operation of the pool.
Once construction began, the folks at Curb Appeal started with laying the foundation. In doing so, they encountered 3 ft. of water when they began drilling the piers. The piers had to be dug at a depth of 16 ft. Due to the significant dropoff on the left side of the property, a large brick ledge was created so the change in elevation was not noticeable from the street.
To comply with the homeowner’s request, the team matched both the brick and shingles to the existing home. The ceiling height on the new addition measured up to the rest of the home, as did the matching eyebrow arch on all the windows.
The entrance to the new office is through the kitchen. Since new French doors were installed, the homeowners requested that the wallpaper be removed and the same skip trowel texture used in the home office be applied to the walls in the kitchen.
