ISSFA Educational Fees Cut to Assist Members

Henderson, NV — The Board of Directors of the International Solid Surface Fabricators Association (ISSFA) has voted to pay 50% of each member’s registration fees for the association’s educational programs “in order to help members succeed in business during these declining economic times.”

According to ISSFA, headquartered here, its newly announced “Economic Relief Initiative” is neither “a discount nor marketing scheme.” The money, said organization officials, will be taken from ISSFA’s long-term reserves.

“It’s the members’ money and we need to spend it on their success,” said ISSFA president Keith Layton.

Effective immediately, ISSFA members in good standing can take 50% off when registering for the association’s seminars and self-study programs, ISSFA said.

The Economic Relief Initiative will remain in effect through June of 2008, the association added.
