Boston — Nearly 600 decorative plumbing and hardware dealers, manufacturers, representative agencies and related trade professionals gathered here last month for the Sixth Annual Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (DPHA) Annual Conference.
Attendance at the three-day event grew by more than 10% from 2006 to 2007, setting a record, according to leaders of the Bethesda, MD-based DPHA, which represents nearly 500 independent dealers, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives serving the independent channel.

“There was an energy in the air at the conference,” commented newly elected DPHA President Debbie Miller, of Millers Decorative Plumbing and Hardware, in Dania, FL. “DPHA has become the home for a community that is passionate about advancing the independent channel in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry. You could feel the electricity touring exhibits in the product showcase, at the educational programs and during DPHA’s networking functions.”
