Six New Colleges Earn Endorsement From NKBA

Hackettstown, NJ — The National Kitchen & Bath Association has added six college-level curriculums to the association’s roster of Endorsed Programs, the NKBA announced.

The Hackettstown, NJ-based NKBA said that the following colleges achieved full endorsement in the first half of 2007.

  • Baker College-Clinton Twp. Campus, Clinton, Twp., MI.
  • College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn, IL.
  • Sage College, Albany, NY.
  • San Diego Mesa College, San Diego, CA.
  • University of Georgia, Athens, GA.

In addition, Palm Beach Community College, in Lake Worth, FL, completed the initial steps needed to earn a Supported Status for the college’s associate science degree in interior design.

The NKBA now has 14 schools in its preliminary Supported Status, and 39 recognized as NKBA-Endorsed Programs.

The association’s Endorsed Programs were created “to serve the professional needs of the industry and to ensure consistent, quality education for students who desire to become kitchen and bath professionals,” the association said.
