Des Plaines, IL — The National Association of the Remodeling Industry has named immediate past president Everett Collier of Collier Ostrom Remodeling Contractors in San Francisco as chairman of the board, and Thomas Hagner, of Racine, WI-based Better Building by Weather Seal, as its president for the coming year.
Hagner’s focus, according to NARI, will be in helping the Des Plaines, IL-based association “provide positive experiences for its members and their customers” through professional and educational opportunities and continued homeowner outreach. Collier, who served as NARI’s president for the past year, plans to continue to focus on programs that will infuse the remodeling labor pool with younger and more diverse talent, NARI officials said.
Renee Rewiski of Remodeling News in Ramsey, NJ, was elected to the office of president-elect.
Other new NARI officers include: second v.p. William Carter, of William E. Carter Company, Sacramento, CA; third v.p. Paul Zuch, of Capital Improvements, Allen, TX; treasurer Michael Hydeck, of Hydeck & Mackay Builders, Telford, PA, and secretary Dean Herriges, of Urban Herriges & Sons, Mukwonago, WI.
