Neodesha, KS — Prestige Cabinets, the Neodesha, KS-based manufacturer of semi-custom kitchen and bath cabinetry, has opened a new plant for the production of doors and rough mill operations, the company announced.
The facility, which opened last month, is located in Columbus, KS, 30 miles from the company’s Neodesha assembly plant. It will serve as a factory where rough lumber is dimensioned, processed and assembled into doors, Prestige officials said. Prior to its opening, Prestige’s door assembly operations have been housed in Neodesha.
“We believe our new facility is the most advanced integrated door production plant in the semi-custom industry,” said Russ Hurt, chief operating officer. “Our investment in the factory is an important step for our company. By having focused factories for door production and cabinet assembly we are better positioned to provide our customers with the service they deserve.”
Prestige Cabinets, a subsidiary of RSI, has been manufacturing cabinets since 1967 and sells its products through independent dealers, distributors and exporters.
