Four builders win five top honors at 2007 Nationals

SANTA MONICA ? Continuing the success they have enjoyed on both regional and national levels year after year, Weston/Mason Marketing took home five top honors for four different clients earlier this month at The 2007 Nationals, the only international-scale marketing competition of its kind for the homebuilding industry. Sponsored by the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Homebuilders and presented as part of the prestigious International Builders Show held in Orlando, Florida on Feb. 7, the event attracted more than 1,300 entries from across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Weston/Mason's awards included a Gold for Best Brochure in the Nation for Brookfield Homes Southland Group's Corporate Builder Brochure, and Silver Awards for Best Direct Mail and Community of the Year for Lennar/William Lyon Homes' Villages of Columbus, Best Special Promotion by a Supplier for event planning experts The Patrician Company, and Best Color Combo Ad for D.R. Horton's Urban Vibe ad showcasing three San Diego urban infill communities ? Paramount in Downtown Escondido, La Boheme in Northpark, and Atlas in Hillcrest.

In addition, Weston/Mason was awarded a Regional Award for Best Buyer Retention Program for Brookfield's Enthusiast Program, which communicates to buyers during the often-stressful construction phase of their new home and after the close of their escrow, building affinity for the Brookfield brand through referrals and second or third Brookfield homes purchases as their customers' housing needs change.

"We are proud to be so well represented with multiple awards for four unique clients spanning an array of different marketing disciplines," said Tom Weston, CEO of Weston/Mason. "As this is our industry's most celebrated awards program showcasing the year's finest work, it is truly a pleasure to be honored among such outstanding competition."
