Bethesda, MD — The Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association has introduced a series of regional meetings aimed at building and reinforcing relationships among the three principal parties in the decorative plumbing and hardware supply chain, the trade association announced.
The Bethesda, MD-based DPHA will kick off the series this month with a regional meeting set for April 26, at Umbria, 295 Franklin Street, in Boston. Well-known industry consultant Hank Darlington will address attendees.
According to DPHA President Jeff Robboy, of Baci by Remcraft, the association is introducing regional meetings “to provide opportunities for dealers, manufacturers and representatives in the independent decorative plumbing and hardware channel to come together, share ideas, address problems and keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in their region.”
Said Robboy: “DPHA’s success, in large measure, is the result of the association’s ability to solidify a community of like-minded and passionate professionals who are committed to advancing their industry. Regional meetings provide additional opportunities to build and reinforce relationships, and also enable more dealer, manufacturer and rep agency staffs to capitalize on DPHA’s unique programming.”
Darlington has been involved with the kitchen and bath industry for 40+ years as a business owner, professional manager, industry consultant, author, writer, speaker and educator. Aside from his many career accomplishments, he also serves as a columnist for Kitchen & Bath Design News.
The cost to attend the regional meeting is $50. Reservations can be made by contacting DPHA, 7900 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 305, Bethesda, MD 20814, by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by visiting www.dpha.net.
