DiLoreto Architecture DiLoreto Architecture has designed Kerns Commons, a five-story mixed-use development in Northeast Portland. Programming for the building, which sits on a 4,500-square-foot site, includes first-floor retail and parking topped by nine one- and-two-bedroom condominium units on floors two through four. The top floor will be the owner's home and art studio. Completion is projected for early 2007. The DiLoreto project team includes Chris DiLoreto and Bryce Allison. The contractor is Gray Purcell.
LRS Architects LRS Architects has designed Pacifica at RiverNorth, an eight-story condominium project currently under construction on Portland's north waterfront. The firm's design goals included maximizing river views for the complex, which is located 100 feet from the river, with elements such as floor-to-ceiling windows and cantilevered decks. The 98,000-square-foot building will have 72 condominium units, one level of below-grade parking and a small convenience retail space at ground level. The client is Ralston Investments. The LRS project team is Greg Mitchell, Paul Frank and Calista Fitzgerald. The larger team included contractor LCG Pence Construction, mechanical consultant HVAC Inc., structural consultant KGA Inc., electrical consultant Jet Electric, civil consultant Alpha Community Development, and acoustical consultant Listen Acoustics. Completion is projected for December 2007.
Myhre Group Architects Myhre Group has been selected to design The Springs at Redding, a 215-unit continuing-care retirement community in Redding, Calif. Situated on a 10-acre site with views of Mount Shasta, the Misson-style development will include a range of high-end accommodations, from independent condominiums and cottages to assisted living suites and a memory care facility. Other elements to be included are a bistro, a spa, a bank, an exercise facility, an outdoor pool and shared living areas. The 10-acre site also offers nearby foothills. The project is currently in the design phase. The Myhre Group project team is Rob Matthews and James Bloomer.
