Two Southland homebuilders will be inducted into the California Building Industry "Hall of Fame," it was announced today.
Lester Goodman of The Ryness Co., Orange County, and Michael McGee of Los Angeles-based Pardee Homes are among six honorees for 2007.
The honorees are being recognized "for contributions that have resulted in the advancement of homebuilding, construction, development, marketing, finance, or related services within the building industry in California," according to the California Building Industry Association.
Honorees are also recognized "for their contributions to civic, social, and philanthropic organizations in their communities," according to the CBIA.
The honorees will be formally inducted during the 23rd annual "Hall of Fame" awards dinner on May 29 in San Francisco.
Over the past 22 years, the California Building Industry Foundation has inducted 156 men and women into its Hall of Fame.
