Philadelphia, PA — The third annual “Whotailers Roundtable Conference,” which took place recently in Philadelphia, was termed by the event’s organizer as another in a series of successes.
This year’s conference added an additional day “to allow more whotailers to attend in smaller groups where no two members in the group are from competitive markets,” said Morton Block, CMKBD, IIDA, president of Morton Block Associates, a Kennett Square, PA-based consulting firm. Block produces, facilitates and moderates the event.
This year's two-day conference attracted 24 attendees from Michigan, Missouri, Connecticut, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
“The informal business atmos-phere promotes a focused, ‘real-time’ exchange of ideas,” Block said.
“Although there is an agenda created by the conferees prior to the meeting, there are no restrictions about discussing non-agenda topics, as long as all agree,” he added.
The next conference is tentatively scheduled for September, 2007, noted Block, adding that there is already a waiting list of 20 companies and the conference may have to be extended to a third day.
