Bolgona, Italy — This year’s Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tiles and Bathroom Furniture, has set new records for total attendance and foreign attendance, show organizers announced.
A total of 90,949 visitors converged on the Bologna Exhibition Centre during the five days of the September show, a 2.7% increase over 2005 and the highest figure since Cersaie became a five-day event, according to event organizers.
The 24th edition of Cersaie “also reinforced the show’s international nature,” organizers stated. Of the 1,060 exhibitors, 214 were foreign companies from 32 different countries, while the number of foreign attendees amounted to 26,411, 6.8% more than the 24,711 of 2005, Cersaie officials reported.
The next Cersaie is scheduled for Oct. 2-6, 2007 in Bologna.
