Isuzu Motors offers its 2006 i-280, an extended cab 4x2 pickup truck. It features a 2.8-liter in-line four-cylinder engine with 175 hp and 185 lb./ft. of torque. It includes electronic throttle control and heavy-duty suspension.

 

The GMC TopKick C4500 delivers more torque, smoother transmission shifting and improved comfort for three-passenger seating. It features 8,000-lb. front axle — an additional 1,000 lbs. of load-carrying capacity versus the base axle of the previous year.

 

The Nissan 2006 Titan King Cab features rear doors that open 168 degrees for nearly unlimited interior access, a high utility bed that includes bedliner, a utili-track tie-down system that provides cargo hauling flexibility and an integrated, lockable bedside storage compartment.

 

Mitsubishi Motors’ 2006 Raider mid-size truck is available in a combination of extended and double-cab body styles, two- and four-wheel drive and equipped with six-passenger seating. It includes a V-8 engine that produces 290 lb./ft. of torque and a tow capacity of 6,500 lbs.

 

Toyota’s 2006 Tacoma features two engines: a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 159 hp and 180 lb./ft. of torque, and a 4.0-liter V-6 that produces 236 hp and 266 lb./ft. of torque. Both engines feature an electronic throttle control system designed to improve performance and fuel economy.

 

The 2006 Dodge Sprinter now features the ParkSense rear backup system, high-pressure headlamp washing system, full partition with sliding window, wiring for hands-free communication and a driver seat power outlet. It includes a fuel-efficient turbo-diesel engine, nearly vertical cargo walls, two roof heights and three wheelbases.

 

The Chevrolet 2006 Express features the Duramax 6600 turbo-diesel V-8 engine. It includes revised front floor panel and underbody heat shielding, new interior engine cover, a high idle switch added to the instrument panel and a secondary battery mounted on the left-hand frame rail.

 

The 2006 Lincoln Mark LT truck is available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations with a 5.5-ft. box plus standard bed extender. It includes a standard 5.4-liter, three-valve Triton V-8 engine that produces 300 hp at 5,000 rpm and 365 lb./ft. of torque at 3,750 rpm.

 

Honda’s 2006 Ridgeline features a secure, lockable in-bed trunk with enough room to store items under the pickup bed. It includes a dual-action tailgate designed for easy loading and unloading of the in-bed trunk and truck bed, and fully independent four-wheel suspension.

 

The 2006 Ford E-Series includes AdvanceTrac with roll stability technology, slim-line engine cover console, electronically controlled transmission and transmission oil cooler. It offers up to 236.5 cu. ft. of rear cargo space with up to 275.1 cu. ft. in extended van versions.
