Henderson, NV — The International Solid Surface Fabricators Association is seeking volunteers to join in the formation of a 2006 ISSFA Education Committee, the association said.
According to ISSFA Education Committee Chair Phil DeCaro, the 10-person committee will spearhead the development of future ISSFA training programs and certification criteria.
“For all ISSFA members who’ve been looking for an opportunity to offer your input and help shape our [educational] offerings, this is your chance,” DeCaro said.
“If you have something to offer, now is the time to help.”
DeCaro said the education committee will focus on enhancing ISSFA’s “Total Fabrication Training Program,” offered at the association’s headquarters in Henderson, NV, as well as with the development of new regional programs in job management and installation, shop optimization, sales and business development.
“ISSFA will create products, presentations and programs that support our mission and establish the ISSFA brand,” DeCaro said.
“Bill Wolle, director of education & certification, and I are looking for fabricators, manufacturer reps, distributor reps and tool/supplies reps,” he added.
