CARSON, CA — Enkeboll Designs, the Carson, CA-based manufacturer of architectural woodcarvings, has launched a year-long celebration to mark its 50th anniversary.
“All Things Golden” will be a theme line across all Enkeboll advertising, promotion and public relations activities, as well as a focal point of Enkeboll’s exhibition at the annual (K/BIS) Kitchen/Bath Industry Show in Chicago next month, corporate officials announced. In addition, a specially created commemorative logo will be utilized throughout the year.
Enkeboll Designs was founded in 1956 in the Venice, CA chicken shed of art enthusiast Raymond Enkeboll. Although Enkeboll is currently known for elaborate architectural woodcarvings – including mantelpieces, corbels, decorative moldings, columns, onlays, panels and posts – Raymond Enkeboll originally worked with a master carver to design and create his own line of furniture.
After a short time, Enkeboll Designs relocated to a 50,000-sq.-ft. facility in Los Angeles. Later, when building his new corporate headquarters, known as Enkeboll Castle, Raymond Enkeboll recognized a need for architectural elements that would dramatize the visual impact of a room.
“Our work is so much more than creating woodcarvings,” said company president Steve Anderson. “We are here to serve the design/build community and make a real difference in how homeowners experience their own castles.”
