New Design Planned for Florida

BONITA SPRINGS, FL — A new design center dedicated to the design and construction trades has begun construction and set an anticipated opening for the fourth quarter of 2006, the project’s developers announced.

The hub of the project, to be called The Design Parc, will be set in a campus-style atmosphere located west of Interstate 75, with proximity to key markets in Florida that include Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Naples, developers said.

Some 140,000 square feet will be utilized for the design and home improvement market, with offices, showrooms and storefronts ranging from 1,500 square feet to more than 20,000 square feet. The Design Parc will be developed in phases, with an adjacent 90,000-sq.-ft. retail center offering high-end shopping and dining opportunities, developers added.

“The Design Parc will be a tremendous professional resource for not only furnishings, textiles and design services, but also for the remodeling and construction of a home from the ground up,” stated Emilio Sadez, owner of International Design Source, a major tenant in the center. “In creating The Design Parc, we are able to offer inspiration and resources with a diversity of products with many advantages – the most important being the ability to customize furnishings with endless choices and details.”
