PENACOOK, NH — Riverside Millwork Co. (RIVCO), a major New England manufacturer and distributor of building materials, including kitchen cabinetry and countertops, has been acquired from its previous owners by the current RIVCO management team.
The buy-out, the terms of which were not disclosed, was noted by RIVCO president and CEO Lynn Bartley, who said that “for the first time since 1988, RIVCO is again owned by local management.”
“We have long desired to return ownership of the company to management to continue our dedicated service to our customers and provide long-term stability for our associates,” Bartley said.
The management team, in addition to Bartley, includes Armand Plourde, executive v.p./operations; Donald Bealko, v.p./marketing and business development; Richard Hinch, v.p./sales, and Timothy Larkin, chief financial officer.
Founded in 1962, RIVCO manufactures products in facilities in Penacook and Nashua, NH, and represents nationally branded products in virtually all building product categories. The company services all of New England, and operates out of seven showrooms and design centers in addition to its headquarters in Penacook.
