DES PLAINES, IL — The National Association of the Remodeling Industry has invited remodelers, including kitchen and bath professionals, to compete for the association’s “2006 Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards.”
The competition will honor the achievements of companies in 2004-’05, the Des Plaines, IL-based trade association said.
Only NARI members are eligible for individual entries. However, if a remodeler is not currently a NARI member, qualifying for membership and payment of membership dues upon submission of the project will allow the entry to be accepted, the association said.
The non-refundable entry fee is $160, and projects must have been completed between July 1, 2004 and Nov. 30, 2005. Binder orders are due by Nov. 18, 2005, and entries are due at NARI’s national headquarters by Dec. 2, 2005.
There are 26 awards categories, including (in the residential area) Kitchen, Bath, Interior, Addition, Exterior, Specialty, Entire House, Historical Renovation, Universal Design and the newest category of Home Theater/Media Room.
All winners will be recognized at NARI’s “Evening of Excellence”, which is scheduled for in San Francisco on March 18, 2006.
