BETHESDA, MD - The Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association has published the 11th module in its Education Program, the trade association has announced.
Hinges, the new module, serves as a reference tool for showroom personnel seeking to assist clients determine the correct number, type and size of hinges for decorative and other applications, according to the DPHA.
Hinges is also the first of four hardware chapters to be developed for its ever-expanding Education Program, the Bethesda, MD-based DPHA added. The remaining chapters are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
The DPHA Education Program consists of a series of manuals aimed at educating showroom sales staffs, manufacturers reps and others about specific issues pertinent to the decorative plumbing and hardware industry. Other modules focus on faucets, water closets and bidets, tubs, steam systems, shower systems, sinks, cabinet hardware, supplies and waste assemblies, care and maintenance, and finishes.
