KCMA Convention To Mark 50th Year

Colorado Springs, CO -- The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association will celebrate its 50-year anniversary next month when members gather for the KCMA's annual convention at a well-known hotel here.

The KCMA's 50th Annual Convention is scheduled for June 5-8 at The Broadmoor, in Colorado Springs at the base of the Rocky Mountains, the Reston, VA-based association announced.

The four-day convention includes a series of educational programs, sports, day trips, social events and networking activities. Among the scheduled speakers are the following:
--- Dr. Larry Sabato, a professor of politics at the University of Virginia and a leading political analayst. Sabato will address key issues in politics and government policy-making.
--- Dr. Patrick Moore, a founding member and former president of Greenpeace. Moore will address environmental issues of concern to cabinet manufacturers.
--- Wayne Wilbanks, of Wilbanks, Smith & Thomas. Wilbanks will present convention attendees with his economic outlook and forecast for business conditions.

Additional speakers include management consultant Dr. Oren Harari, noted sports psychologist Bob Rotella and inspirational speaker John Croyle.

The KCMA's 50th-Anniversary traveling exhibit will be on display throughout the meeting, which will also be highlighted by the presence of former KCMA presidents and board members.
