Top Achievers Honored by DPHA for '04
Bethesda, MD Three individuals active in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry have been honored for their "extraordinary accomplishments" by the Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association, the trade organization announced.
The Bethesda, MD-based DPHA announced that it has recognized Julie Koch, of Elegant Additions, in Houston, as the "2004 Showroom Professional of the Year," Debbie Stehr, of Stehr Enterprises, in Gambrills, MD, as the "2004 Representative of the Year," and Ken Rohl, of Rohl LLC, in Costa Mesa, CA, as the "2004 Manufacturing Professional of the Year."
The awards were presented to the trio at the DPHA's recent annual meeting, in Boca Raton, FL, the association noted.
Koch, Stehr and Rohl were honored "for their outstanding contributions to advance the decorative plumbing and hardware industry," according to the DPHA.
The association cited judging criteria that included the individual's degree of involvement in DPHA activities, personal achievements in the industry, and support of professional trade organizations, among other factors.
The DPHA also presented two "Showroom of the Year" awards, to the Chicago-based Waterware and the Woodland Hills, CA-based Renaissance Molding and Design.
The award recognizes a showroom's marketing and training programs, customer service, involvement and support of the industry, and innovative presentation of decorative plumbing and hardware products.
KWC's "Murano" was named the 2004 Innovative Product of the Year.
In addition, two companies THG, USA and Luxury Marketing were honored for the quality and functionality of their web sites, according to the association.
