International Stone Institute created
Asheville, NC The International Stone Institute (ISI) has been
established to aid companies and individuals in the construction
industry who design, install, fabricate, restore and/or maintain
dimensional stone and other stone products.
The announcement was made by Fred Hueston, executive director of ISI and the head of the National Training Center (NTC) for Stone and Masonry Trades, based here.
"ISI is solely focused on advancing the industry and helping promote the use of stone, engineered stone and to fill a void in the industry," he offered.
According to Hueston, members of ISI will receive many benefits, including a worker exchange program, worker certification and customer leads, among others.
