DPHA Elects Slate Of New Officers

Bethesda, MD Bill Fiddler, president of the Honolulu-based W.H. Fiddler Company, Ltd., has been elected president of the Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association.

The Bethesda, MD-based DPHA, which represents independent showrooms, manufacturers and manufacturers' representatives, elected Fiddler along with a slate of officers and directors at its recent annual meeting in Boca Raton, FL.

Others newly elected board members include: President-Elect Jim Babbitt, of Howell Babbitt Sales, Glenview, IL; Secretary Ron Raffel, of Raffel Sales, Highland Park, IL; Treasurer Jeff Robboy, of Baci by Remcraft, Opa-Locka, FL, and Immediate Past President Jamie Gregg, of Colonial Bronze, Torrington, CT.

Also elected to the board were Directors Jerry Abel (THG); Gordon Bertrand (Natphil America, Inc.); Jeff Burton (The Bath and Beyond); Sam Byrd (Steamist); Tony Carter (Carter Hardware, Inc.); Rod Denhart (Legacy Brass, Inc.); Jack Fase (Alno); Barry Goldberg (Union Hardware); Marilyn Hermance (Westheimer Plumbing & Hardware); Dick Isaacs (Harrington Brass Works); Sarah Jenkinson (Barber Wilsons & Co./Black Country Heritage); Larry Kaluzna (Waterware); Mary Labowitz (Premier Marketing); Bob Lando (Community Home Supply); Faye Norton (Designer Hardware by Faye); Jonathan Paul (Paul Decorative Products); Mark Rohl (Rohl, LLC); Al Rykus (Aquabrass International); Steve Shedden (Shedden Sales Co.); Debby Stehr (Stehr Enterprises); Jim Tomafsky (Mountain Plumbing Products); Debbie Miller (Miller's Fine Decorative Hardware); Ari Warshafsky (Concinnity & Barand), and Jonathan Wood (Brasstech).

The DPHA was established in 2002 to advance the business interests, professional development and profitability of showrooms, manufacturers and manufacturers' reps in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry. The association currently has some 350 member organizations.

According to Fiddler, the DPHA plans to produce six additional chapters for its Education Program in 2005, as well as introduce new consumer brochures and "build on the phenomenal success of the DPHA Annual Conference and Product Showcase."
