SEN Sponsors Success Seminars
Chapel Hill, NC SEN Buying Group, the buying and business support group for independent kitchen and bath designers based here, is sponsoring three "Success Seminars," the group has announced.
Slated to begin in October, the seminars will be moderated by industry experts from a variety of backgrounds. They will cover a wide range of topics designed to promote business and increase profits, according to SEN president Ken Peterson, CKD.
The first seminar will take place on October 12, in Los Angeles, and will address the topic "Successful Selling through Tailored Communication." Led by Jim Krengel, CMKBD and past president of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), the one-day seminar will teach participants how to make more money for themselves and their firms by packaging sales presentations for different personalities.
The second seminar, "Business Practices that Build Real Profits," will take place on October 16 in Milwaukee, WI. This seminar, led by Tom Blau, will focus on fundamental business, management and marketing principles that are guaranteed to better businesses' bottom line. Also included will be a showroom reception and first-hand opportunity to see showroom applications covered in the seminar, Peterson said.
Peterson will be presenting the third seminar, "Selling Fundamentals that Work," on October 21, to be held at Benton Harbor, MI-based Whirlpool Corp.'s Insperience Studio in Atlanta. The complete-day seminar will be will cover ways to increase closing percentages, sales volumes and profit margins, he noted.
Participants at the seminars will also earn Continuing Education Credit, Peterson said
