Atlanta The 2004 Annual Radiant Panel Association Conference, set for Oct. 13-17, will take place in conjunction with ISH North America, scheduled in Boston from Oct. 14-16, show organizers announced.
ISH North America, which also contains kitchen and bath, plumbing, PVF, heating and air conditioning components, will take place at the new Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
As part of the event, the Radiant Panel Association (RPA) will feature its "Radiant House," according to the show's organizer, the Atlanta-based Messe Frankfurt, Inc.
The Radiant House is a simulated building structure, constructed on the show floor, in which various radiant heating products including staple-up tubing systems, pre-fabricated radiant floor panels, staple-down tubing and electric systems, and gypsum floor pours are installed during the event.
The Annual Radiant Panel Association Conference will also include roundtable discussions and radiant-specific seminars, ISH North America officials said.
ISH North America will also spotlight the "SmartHouse," showcasing advanced building technology from Europe.
"The SmartHouse features the most recent developments of
innovative, intelligent, and networked house and building
technology and was a popular feature at the previous ISH North
America trade show," said Roland Bleinroth,
president of Messe Frankfurt.
"SmartHouse presents solutions for remotely monitoring and
controlling building technology," Bleinroth said. "This 'home
automation' offers the user attractive benefits in terms of
security, comfort and quality of life."
