Elkay Renames Western Unit

Oak Brook, IL Elkay has changed the name of its sink operation in Ogden, UT, from Dayton-Ogden Corporation to Elkay West, the company announced.

According to the Oak Brook, IL-based Elkay, the new name will more closely identify the Ogden operation with other Elkay manufacturing and distribution facilities.

The original name was a variation of Dayton products, a Tennessee-based operation where Elkay formerly produced the Dayton/Kingsford line of sinks, and Ogden, UT, where a similar operation was opened. The Elkay West facility will continue to manufacture and distribute Elkay's Neptune, Dayton and Kingsford product lines, as well as provide the company with regional distribution for other products lines, Elkay said.
