Norwood Cabinet Changes Hands

Charlestown, NH John Sample, a long-time cabinet industry veteran, has acquired Norwood Cabinet Co., and has changed the name of the company to Northland Cabinet Co., the cabinet manufacturer announced.

The sale was announced recently by Stephen Vlachos, a Portland, ME-based consultant and former dealer who arranged and conducted the transaction on behalf of the company's former owner.

Norwood, headquartered in Charlestown, NH, serves kitchen and bath dealers in the Northeast with all-wood custom cabinetry in a variety of specialty woods.

"This acquisition allows me to get back to the hands-on craft of cabinetmaking," said Sample, who gained industry prominence with his founding of Capri Custom Cabinetry in Plymouth, MA.
