SieMatic America Unit Streamlined

Bensalem, PA SieMatic America Group, which supplies a trio of European kitchen cabinet lines to the U.S. market, has restructured its organization, the company announced.

The Bensalem, PA-based SieMatic said that the strategic reorganization will see the streamlining of three America Group product lines SieMatic, Beckermann and Merit under a single umbrella. The move also involves an expansion and overhaul of the company's sales organization and sales representation.

According to SieMatic chairman and CEO Frank Siekmann, the restructuring includes the formation of a dedicated sales force led by Michael Hommas, CKD, v.p./ sales for SieMatic America Group.

"We have combined our individual sales departments into one group of account managers capitalizing on existing synergy to create new strengths," Siekmann said. "This will provide our customers with a dedicated national accounts manager, who will serve as their single source for all of our brands.

"This newly united group will be stronger, more streamlined and better equipped to deliver services to the high-end kitchen furniture market," he added.

To further strengthen its market position and ability to serve customers, SieMatic said it is also focusing on upgraded training and promotional programs, with the addition of specialized sales organization training in Loehne, Germany. The program will be intensified in the future with special sales training at the company's Kitchener facilities, as well as quarterly independent dealer seminars at SieMatic's Bensalem headquarters, the company added.
