ISH Event Draws Nearly 12,000 in Las Vegas Debut
Las Vegas Some 540 companies spanning more than 340,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space highlighted last month's ISH North America the second year of existence for the trade show and the first time it has been staged in the U.S.
Show organizers announced an attendance of nearly 12,000 for the three-day event, which showcased a wide range of functional and decorative plumbing products, many with kitchen and bath applications.
Registered attendees came from 32 states and nine Canadian provinces, as well as 42 foreign countries, show organizers said, adding that more than 1,000 people took part in the event's six-track seminar program.
Exhibitors came from 17 countries, sponsors added.
ISH North America made its debut last year in Toronto. The trade show is produced through a partnership between the Atlanta-based Messe Frankfurt, Inc., the American Supply Association and several other trade associations, including the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating, the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors National Association, and the Radiant Panel Association.
Next year's show is scheduled for Oct. 14-16 at the newly
constructed Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, organizers
