Luxury Collection To Debut Designer Vignette Collection

New York A series of Designer Vignettes will be unveiled at the upcoming Luxury Kitchen and Bath Collection event, to be held here November 20-22, show sponsors announced.

The Designer Collection Vignettes, sponsored by Interior Design magazine, will include six, full-sized kitchen and bath displays designed around the theme, "Creating the Ultimate Luxury." Designers for the vignettes include Mick DeGiulio, CKD, of deGiulio Kitchen Design Inc., Scott Stultz, of Scott A. Stultz & Associates, and David Peer and Joan Picone, of European Country Kitchens.

"Each of the three pairs of kitchens and baths will reflect qualities that are the necessities of luxury," noted Todd David, senior show director for Hanley-Wood Exhibitions, which owns and manages the show. These include simplicity, "which will embody innovation using clean lines, contemporary styling and/or natural materials"; elegance, "which will reach the pinnacle of beauty in traditional detailing or classical styling"; and sophistication, which "will showcase the complex achievement of personalization and customization found in high-end designs," Davis noted.

The vignettes will be pre-constructed and shipped to the New York City facility, Davis added.

In addition to the vignettes, the Luxury Kitchen and Bath Collection will host a series of educational sessions geared toward the luxury end of the kitchen and bath industry and covering such topics as design, marketing and sales. The event will also include product exhibits and a tour of New York showrooms, Davis added.
