DPHA Sets New Awards Program
Bethesda, MD The Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (DPHA), based here, has announced the first national awards program designed specifically for the decorative plumbing and hardware industry.
"For the first time in the history of the decorative plumbing and hardware industry, there is a program to recognize outstanding individual and corporate performance and innovation," explained Jim Tomafsky, DPHA Awards committee chairperson.
DPHA is accepting applications for its DPHA Professional of the Year, Showroom of the Year, Web Site of the Year and Product of the Year Awards, the association said.
The Professional of the Year awards will be presented to representatives of showrooms, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives who have made outstanding contributions to the industry.
The association will also award three Showrooms of the Year honors for showrooms with less than 1,500 square feet, between 1,500-2,500 square feet and in excess of 2,500 square feet.
Applications and nominations are due by August 1, 2003, and there is no fee to enter the DPHA Awards Program, the association said. Honorees will be announced at the DPHA Annual Conference, September 19-21, 2003 at the Marriott Camelback Inn, inScottsdale, AZ.
