'Home-Shopping' Center to be Opened in Ohio
Jeffersonville, OH Plans are underway to open what is being called the country's "first home-themed shopping center" here, developers announced.
The shopping center, to be called "HomeWorks," will offer more than 300,000 sq. ft. of retail space, to be subdivided to accommodate up to 75 diverse, home-themed retail businesses, said Gregory Boyle, president of The Boyle Group, a Malvern, PA-based retail consulting firm which is assisting in the leasing of HomeWorks.
"As Americans are spending more time cocooning at home, we felt it was the ideal time to introduce a unique concept to fit this emerging marketplace," Boyle said.
"As of now, there is no single home-shopping destination in the country that offers the variety and number of stores that will be featured at HomeWorks," Boyle added.
HomeWorks is being developed on Routes 41 and 71, near the Jeffersonville I Prime Outlets Center, in close proximity to Cincinnati and Dayton, Springfield and Columbus, OH.
