ICPA, CFA Announce Alliance
Arlington, VA The Composites Fabricators Association (CFA) and
the International Cast Polymer Association (ICPA) have announced a
strategic agreement to develop an affiliated relationship under
which ICPA will become an alliance of CFA.
The Alliance will be called the International Cast Polymer Alliance of the Composites Fabricators Association, said the two associations, both headquartered in Arlington, VA.
As a result of the alliance, all of ICPA's traditional offerings, including its convention (Polycon), its magazine (The Cast Polymer Connection) and its active chapter network will all continue under the CFA umbrella, a CFA spokesman noted. In addition, ICPA members will also receive all services provided to CFA's members, with all services being administered out of CFA's headquarters in northern Virginia, the associations said.
"For years, we have talked about ways to strengthen our relationship, since we both share commitments to many of the same goals such as delivering quality education for our members, positively affecting regulatory and legislative outcomes and expanding our markets," noted CFA president Jonathon Spaulding.
"ICPA will be CFA's largest, most active alliance," he added, noting that CFA's membership roster will grow to approximately 1,200 companies as a result of the new affiliation.
ICPA president Todd Wersteler stated that the affiliation was one with strong benefits for ICPA members, and added, "We look forward to working with CFA to develop even more of what our shared constituents need from both of us."
