IWF Announces Award Winners
Greenwood, MS Viking Range Corp., a manufacturer of commercial-style appliances for the home, recently received notification from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) that its dealer/distributor product training seminars qualify for continuing education units (CEUs).
The three-day Viking Training Center seminars provide a curriculum of 16 hours of accredited instruction or 1.6 CEUs. Those eligible to receive these credits are NKBA-certified CKDs, CBDs, AKBDs, CKEs, CBEs, CKBIs and CMKBDs.
"We are pleased to offer this additional service to dealer/distributor personnel who have the qualifications for earning these credits," said Viking v.p./public affairs Dale Persons.
"Not only can trainees learn about the complete line of Viking appliances and other important industry data and practical selling skills, but they can also earn the educational units they need to maintain their NKBA accreditation status," Persons added.
The Viking Training Center, which recently relocated to its present 12,000-sq.-ft. location here, features a theater-style classroom and demonstration kitchen with state-of-the-art audio/visual capabilities. The Training Center also houses a corporate dining room and preparation kitchen, the company notes.
