Broan, NKBA Announce Design Competition
Hartford, WI Broan-NuTone, manufacturer of quality air filtration, ventilation and household convenience products, based here, and the Hackettstown, NJ-based National Kitchen & Bath Association, have jointly launched the "Fresh Ideas in Kitchen and Bath Design Contest," offering over $40,000 in prize monies.
Created "to reward design creativity," according to contest
co-sponsors, the competition will feature three entry categories in
both the Professional and Student Divisions: Category 1 $15,000 or
Less Kitchen or Powder Room Design; Category 2 $15,001- $25,000
Kitchen Design, and Category 3 $25,001 or More Kitchen
Design.
The contest will have 18 winners in total, with the six first-place
winners receiving $1,000 and a trip to the 2003 Kitchen/Bath
Industry Show in Orlando. At K/BIS, a grand-prize winner will be
selected from the first-place Professional Designs division and the
first-place Student Designs division.
The grand-prize winner for the professional division will
receive a trip for two to Rome, Italy, while the student-division
winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship to an accredited college
or university from Broan-NuTone and the Center for Kitchen &
Bath Education and Research. Entries must be postmarked by November
