Kitchen, Bathroom Designers Honored

Chicago The Chicago Midwest Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association has announced the winners of its "Design Vision 2001" awards, aimed at citing excellence in kitchen and bathroom design.

First-place winner in Category A, kitchens under 250 sq. ft., was David McFadden, of the Past Basket, in Geneva, IL. Wendy Yang and John Myefski, of Wickets Fine Cabinetry, in Glencoe, IL, won second place honors, while Trish Walters, CKD, of Kitchen Village, in Arlington Heights, IL, won third-place honors.

Winners in Category B, kitchens over 250 sq. ft., were Diane Bohstedt, of Insignia Kitchen & Bath Design Group Ltd., in Barrington, IL, first place; Lisa Fullerton, of Drury Design, in Glen Ellyn, IL, second place; and Julie Loehner, CKD, of Insignia Kitchen & Bath Design Group Ltd., third place.

Category C winners, bathrooms under 65 sq. ft. are Susan Waters, of Insignia Kitchen & Bath Design Group Ltd., first place; Alan Lincoln, CKD, of Kitchen & Bath Visions Inc., in Morton Grove, IL, second place; and Jeffery Cannata, CKD, and Catherine Sparling of Designer's Showcase Kitchens and Baths, in Carol Stream, IL, third-place.

Category D winners, bathrooms over 65 sq. ft., are Julie Loehner, of Insignia Kitchen & Bath Design Group Ltd., first place; Coral Cerny, of Insignia Kitchen & Bath Design Group Ltd., second place; and Gail Drury, CKD, CBD, of Drury Design, in Glen Ellyn, IL, third place.
