Honoring Excellence

Honoring Excellence

Accordingly, Kitchen & Bath Design News is once again honoring individuals and companies in the kitchen and bath design industry who are true leaders, with the presentation of its third annual Industry Leadership Awards. Nearly two dozen industry players including kitchen and bath dealers, distributors, "whotailers," manufacturers, sales reps and others have been named as recipients of the 2001 Industry Leadership Awards, presented exclusively by K&BDN. Each of the award winners is being highlighted in this month's issue.

Begun in 1999, the Industry Leadership Awards are the first kitchen and bath industry honors to focus on leadership excellence and outstanding industry achievement in eight specific categories.

"While the common focal points for most kitchen and bath industry awards are sales volume and design expertise, the Industry Leadership Awards program takes a different approach, awarding its honors on the basis of achievements in business management, marketing, the use of showrooms, community service and related activities that are all critical to any company's success," offers Eliot Sefrin, K&BDN's editorial director and publisher.

"The companies and associates we are paying homage to with the 2001 awards are industry leaders whose achievements have enhanced their success," continues Sefrin. "Their ideas are those that can be admired, studied and emulated to enhance others business practices."
The 2001 Industry Leadership Award winners are listed here.
