BLANCO Gets Dedicated Line For U.S. Sinks
Cinnaminson, NJ Sharp sales growth over the past four years by BLANCO AMERICA has led the sink manufacturer's German- based parent company to open a dedicated production line exclusively for the manufacturing of stainless steel sinks aimed at the burgeoning U.S. market, the company announced.
According to the company, whose U.S. unit is headquartered in Cinnaminson, NJ, BLANCO GERMANY recently took the "unprecedented step" of opening a dedicated production line exclusively for BLANCO AMERICA stainless steel sinks at the recently expanded factory in Sulzfeld, Germany. The new production line is the fourth for the Sulzfeld stainless steel sink facility, according to company officials.
BLANCO AMERICA president Chuck Burhans attended ceremonies marking the opening of the line in late March during which BLANCO AMERICA was presented with the parent company's "Champions Award," in recognition of outstanding growth over the past four years. BLANCO AMERICA's sales have more than quadrupled during that time, the company notes.
BLANCO recently marked its 75th anniversary, having produced more than 28 million sinks in three factories worldwide. Significant product introductions have been aimed primarily at the U.S. market recently.
BLANCO AMERICA also recently moved to a new, expanded 30,000-sq.-ft. facility next door to the company's previous headquarters here.
