KCMA Confab Scheduled for Next Month

Reston, VA The 46th Annual Convention of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association will take place next month at a San Diego resort, KCMA officials announced.

The annual convention, featuring three days of seminars, networking and social events, is scheduled for May 20-23 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, in the San Pasqual Valley, said the trade association, which is based in Reston, VA.

Speakers on the KCMA program will include:

  • Dr. Patrick Moore, an environmentalist, who will discuss the implications of "green certification" in the cabinet and wood products industries.
  • Robert Nadeau, a principal in the Industrial Performance Group, who will discuss common mistakes manufacturers are making in their distribution efforts during the digital communication revolution.
  • Wayne Wilbanks, an economist and investment specialist, who will discuss the future outlook for the U.S. economy.
  • Dr. Nate Booth, a motivational speaker, who will offer strategies on the art of thriving in a time of rapid change.

The three-day event will include committee and board of directors' meetings, and area events aimed at families.
