Seminar Series Set Again in '01
Hackensack, NJ The well-received "Managing for Profit" business management seminar series sponsored for the past two years by Kitchen & Bath Design News and the National Kitchen & Bath Association will be offered in an expanded format in 2001.
K&BDN and the NKBA this month announced tentative plans calling for the all-day seminar series to be offered at five locations next year. "Managing for Profit" seminars will also be offered on two levels in 2001: Level I/"Critical Strategies for Improving Your Bottom Line," and Level II/"Marketing & Sales Strategies To Grow Your Business." Tentative dates and locations are as follows:
- April, New England Region.
- May, Chicago Metro Area.
- June, Philadelphia Metro Area.
- September, Orlando Metro Area.
- October, Southwest Region.
The Managing for Profit conference program, launched in 1999, brings K&BDN "live" to major U.S. markets under the terms of an exclusive industry alliance between K&BDN and the NKBA. Aimed at kitchen and bath dealers, designers and remodelers, the seminars provide practical, in-depth strategies for maximizing retail profits, and are underwritten in part by leading industry corporations.
"This is an important educational initiative aimed at contributing to professionalism and profitability in the kitchen and bath industry," said K&BDN publisher Eliot Sefrin. "We're pleased to be part of the conference series, and to be working again with NKBA in 2001,"
