Internet Firm Aids in Home Building Effort

Lexington, KY Company officials from, a leading custom home improvement project Web site, took part last month in an effort to build a home for a needy central Kentucky family here, the company announced.

Company personnel provided volunteer labor, and DIYonline provided computerized kitchen and bath design assistance, on a home that was constructed as part of the sixth annual 2000 WKYT-TV/Lexington Habitat for Humanity Building Project.

The home was built for a single mother and her two children, one of whom is confined to a wheelchair.
